Laredhidan
Situated between Madokiriza to the northwest, the to the northeast, and the Iâssic Sea to the southeast, Laredhidan is a land of vast forests, enormous mountains, and great rivers. The ruins of Elder Races dot the landscape, with there having been countless empires ground under the feet of foreign conquerors. Mankind is the latest race to conquer Laredhidan's greatest empire; the Elves had conquered the Worm-men, who had themselves conquered the Nameless People, whom they enslaved.
The name 'Laredhidan' is of Elvish origin. It is a common belief that it is named after Laredh, the legendary King of All Elves. However, Elves claim that the name means the 'Great Forest', as the Elves had on their great journey West seen very little greenery, and rejoiced greatly in the discovery of Laredhidan's vast forests.
Ôrisikain
The land of Ôrisikain marks the southeastern border of Laredhidan. To its north is Tôriskalís, to the east is the Iâssic Sea, and to the west is Ganbarica. The land is hilly and mountainous, and much of it is ill-suited to farming.
Ganbarica
The hills of Ôrisikain give way to Ganbarica, which is mainly a land of plains; it is believed that it was once a vast forest, but the Ghebelai - an Elder Race that had dwelt here - deforested the land. Volcanic ash from Sorrot and Tôriskalís have rendered the soil quite fertile, though certain areas have difficulty growing crops and are turning into deserts. It is believed that the land of Ganbarica is cursed by the vengeful spirits of the Tīrsil, who had been slaughtered to the last man, woman, and child during the Great Migration.
To Ganbarica's southwest is Catæl, and to its northwest is Besanula. It is bordered in the south by the Sorrotine Peninsula, to the east by Ôrisikain, and to the north by Zaravel.
Sorrot
The Sorrotine Peninsula is a chiefly mountainous and volcanic region; its volcanoes have lost their vitality ever since the Great Migration and the overthrow of the Ghebelai. Though the volcanoes are slowly dying, the soil remains black and excessively fertile, and the terraced farms of Sorrot grow more than the Men there can eat. The peninsula has been the center of several great empires; the Empire of the Thrysæl was the greatest of these, and the Empire of Ghebel was the second greatest, unmatched by any other empire born of Sorrot.
Several islands surround the peninsula, such as Commogeris, Tesinot, and Tinisom. Sorrot is bordered on the north by Catæl and Ganbarica.
