Natural worship is that form of worship and sacrifice which conforms to the natural processes of the world, and which cleaves closely to the traditions and rituals taught to a people's ancestors by the gods. There exists no formal hierarchy, and every man can be his own priest if necessary. This is the form of worship that Mankind is naturally inclined toward, and which Man brought with him into Laredhidan and other parts of the world. Among the Elder Races it is more uncommon, insofar as it is known what these oft secretive peoples believe in. It can be distinguished from structured worship because there exists no established hierarchy; this is the relationship Men have with the gods in places where priests cannot live off of being priests, and must instead pursue other occupations. A priest of one village has no superior except the gods and, perhaps, the priest-king of his tribe or kingdom.
